Maplewood Mall has evolved over four years from a traditional sea of impervious surfaces to an innovative stormwater management example for our region. The project showcases the benefits of mimicking natural systems, including plants and trees, to improve both stormwater quality and aesthetics. Artful redesign and landscaping have created a richer sense of place for visitors.
