Our Wild Ones St. Croix Oak Savanna Chapter has recently become a garden club affiliated with the Minnesota State Horticultural Society.  This association has many benefits and is a good partner for Wild Ones.   MSHS is providing more information on native plants through their classes and lectures, and articles in Northern Gardener magazine.  Persons looking for a garden club which focuses on native plants can find our Wild Ones chapter on the MSHS website. Our chapter now has access to the MSHS Speaker’s Roster to find potential speakers for our meeting programs.  Best of all our Wild Ones members can receive a reduced membership rate when joining or re-newing a membership with MSHS.

Benefits of being an annual member of a garden club affiliated with MSHS include: 6 issues of Northern Gardener magazine, discounts with more than 130 garden centers, nurseries and landscape services, discounts on MSHS merchandise, classes and events, and on memberships with the Minn. Landscape Arboretum, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory and Walker Art Center.  To learn about all the benefits of belonging to MSHS as a garden club member, the various membership levels and other information, go to the MSHS website at and click on “Garden Clubs” and then “Membership Information”.   To join MSHS, you will send your payment and the information listed to MSHS directly.  Be sure to mention that you are a member of Wild Ones St. Croix Oak Savanna Chapter.

What a great way to support MSHS and receive wonderful benefits as well!

Note: Your Wild Ones dues are separate and will still be sent directly to Wild Ones National.
