About Us

Wild Ones St. Croix Oak Savanna’s primary goals are to advocate for landscaping with native plants, to provide environmental education, and to restore natural ecosystems. We do this through monthly educational programs and field trips, chapter activities, and networking with other local environmental organizations.

Wild Ones St. Croix Oak Savanna Chapter was formed in 2003. We’re located in Stillwater, MN, and sponsor monthly programs by enthusiasts and experts on native plants and natural landscapes.

This was our first chapter meeting, October, 2003

Meetings are free and open to the public.

Indoor meetings have been suspended temporarily. When we re-start they will be held on the third Tuesday of the month at the FamilyMeans Building, 1875 Northwestern Ave, in Stillwater. Socializing begins at 6:30 with our speaker at 7 pm.

Warm weather garden tours and field trips are typically held on weekends. See our Chapter Calendar for coming events.

We welcome all levels of native plant and gardening enthusiast!

Join us to learn more about Minnesota and Wisconsin native plants and how they enhance our outdoor spaces.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Outreach Volunteers always appreciated. We frequently set up information booths at community events.
