About Us

Wild Ones St. Croix Oak Savanna’s primary goals are to advocate for landscaping with native plants, to provide environmental education, and to restore natural ecosystems. We do this through monthly educational programs and field trips, chapter activities, and networking with other local environmental organizations.

Wild Ones St. Croix Oak Savanna Chapter was formed in 2003. We’re located in Stillwater, MN, and sponsor monthly programs by enthusiasts and experts on native plants and natural landscapes.

This was our first chapter meeting, October, 2003

Meetings are free and open to the public.

Indoor, cool-weather meetings (typically January thru April and September thru November) are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the FamilyMeans Building, 1875 Northwestern Ave, in Stillwater. Socializing begins after 6:30, with announcements and then our speaker at 7 pm.

Warm-weather garden tours and field trips are typically held on weekends. For upcoming events, see our Chapter Calendar.

We welcome all levels of native plant and gardening enthusiasts!

Join us to learn more about Minnesota and Wisconsin native plants and how they enhance our outdoor spaces.
